The pacing works especially well as an add-on to a longer Italy holiday. It begins early in Rome, includes guided time in Florence and Venice, and finishes in Venice with the option to extend independently or continue towards Milan, Como or the northern lakes.
Food is woven through the journey in a practical, enjoyable way: lunch in Assisi, a traditional Tuscan restaurant lunch in Florence and a light Bologna gastronomic experience with a drink included.
