Classic Fantastic 5 Days / 4 Nights is a well-priced larger-group round trip that brings together many of Italy’s best-known destinations in one easy, well-structured itinerary. Beginning in Rome, the tour moves through Assisi, Siena, Florence, Bologna, and Venice before returning through Tuscany, giving travellers a rewarding mix of art, atmosphere, and regional food experiences.
This itinerary suits travellers who want the classic Italy route with a little more depth and variety than a simple city sampler. There is time for guided touring, local flavours, and some of the country’s most recognisable landscapes, from medieval hill towns to lagoon views and Tuscan wine country.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Rome > Assisi > Siena > Florence
Depart at 7:15 AM by deluxe coach to Assisi, a medieval town surrounded by ancient walls. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, admire frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue, and enjoy lunch in Assisi.
Continue to Siena, a UNESCO-listed city famous for Piazza del Campo and the Palio horse race. Later, travel through the Tuscan countryside to Florence. Check in and overnight.
Day 2: Florence
Explore Florence, cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Duomo, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and Santa Croce Basilica.
Enjoy lunch in a traditional Tuscan restaurant. In the afternoon, choose free time in the city or an optional visit to Pisa. Overnight in Florence.
Day 3: Florence > Bologna > Venice
Travel to Bologna, rich in culture and culinary tradition. Walk through the historic centre from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza Maggiore, admire San Petronio Basilica and the Palazzo del Podesta, and enjoy a local gastronomic experience with one drink included.
Continue to Venice. Check in and overnight.
Day 4: Venice
Transfer to Piazza San Marco and discover Venice’s highlights on a guided tour. See the Doge’s Palace from outside and cross the Bridge of Sighs.
Afterward, enjoy a spritz or prosecco with cicchetti, traditional Venetian snacks. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Venice.
Day 5: Venice > Tuscany Wine Region > Rome
Depart Venice and travel through Tuscany to Montepulciano, known for Vino Nobile and panoramic hilltop views. Enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch with one glass of wine.
After free time in town, continue back to Rome, where the tour ends.

Moderate: walking tours in historic centres, steps at monuments, and coach boarding throughout the itinerary.
General Notes
- These are not small group tours and can be up to 40 on all tours below.
- One child aged 1 to 6 years stays free when sharing the bed with parents (only one child per room).
- City tax is not included and is payable directly to the hotel.
- Drinks are not included in meals unless included in the experience.
Extras And Operational Notes
- Luggage policy: each traveller is allowed 1 checked suitcase (23–32 kg) and 1 carry-on bag.
- Some hotels may charge a small fee for luggage storage before check-in or after check-out.
- Meeting point and time: departures from Rome leave from Hotel St. Martin at 7:15 AM.
- Due to technical and/or logistic issues, itineraries may be amended.
- Overnight accommodation is in listed hotels or similar, typically 3-star or 4-star depending on departure and availability.
- Loss or damage of headsets may incur a charge of 100 EUR per device.
- Guaranteed monolingual departures. If the minimum of 12 participants per language is not reached, one coach may operate with two tour leaders, one for each language.
- For tours including lunches or dinners, please advise allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences in advance.
