Greek temples, Norman mosaics and volcanic landscapes make Sicily a compelling place to explore. This seven-day private journey links Palermo with Agrigento, Syracuse and Taormina, giving each part of the island its own place in the story.
Discover Palermo’s layered architecture and choose an afternoon in either Monreale or Cefalù. Continue to the Valley of the Temples, then cross to Syracuse for the classical remains of Neapolis and the lanes of Ortigia before settling in Taormina.
Three nights in Taormina allow time for its theatre, sea views and independent afternoons. A half-day outing to Mount Etna adds a different landscape altogether, with a stop for honey tasting and time around the Silvestri Craters before your journey finishes at Catania airport.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive In Palermo
Transfer from Palermo airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest or begin exploring independently. Overnight in Palermo.
Day 2 – Palermo & Monreale Or Cefalù
Discover Palermo with an English-speaking driver and local guide, taking in the Norman Palace and Palatine Chapel, cathedral, Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria, Martorana Church and Massimo Theatre. Choose one afternoon excursion when booking: Monreale for its cathedral mosaics and cloister, or Cefalù for coastal streets and historic character. Return to Palermo for the night.
Day 3 – Agrigento’s Valley Of The Temples
After breakfast, take a private transfer to Agrigento. A local guide joins you for up to two hours at the Valley of the Temples, where monumental Doric temples recall the power of ancient Greek Sicily. Entrance is included. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Agrigento.
Day 4 – Syracuse & Ortigia To Taormina
Travel with your English-speaking driver to Syracuse for a guided visit of up to three hours. Explore Neapolis Archaeological Park, including the Greek Theatre and Ear of Dionysius, then discover Ortigia, where ancient history sits alongside baroque streets. Continue to Taormina for your overnight stay.
Day 5 – Taormina
A local guide introduces Taormina on a walking tour of up to three hours. Follow Corso Umberto between the town gates and visit the Greek-Roman Theatre, with its striking coastal outlook, alongside landmarks such as Palazzo Corvaja. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in Taormina.
Day 6 – Mount Etna
Head out with an English-speaking driver and local guide for an excursion of approximately five hours. Stop at Zafferana Etnea for coastal views and honey tasting, then walk around the Silvestri Craters at roughly 1,980 metres. Higher-altitude cable-car and jeep excursions are optional and extra, subject to conditions. Return to Taormina for free time and your final night.
Day 7 – Depart Via Catania
After breakfast, transfer from Taormina to Catania airport at the locally confirmed time. Your tour concludes at the airport.
