This private short break is based in Como, with airport transfers included from Milan Malpensa. After arriving and settling in, enjoy time at leisure to explore Como’s historic centre, visit Como Cathedral, stroll to Tempio Voltiano, or wander the lakefront at your own pace.
The highlight is a full-day Bernina Express experience. Travel by private car to Tirano, then board the Bernina Express for a spectacular alpine rail journey through UNESCO World Heritage-listed scenery to St Moritz. Enjoy free time in St Moritz before meeting your driver for the return journey to Como.
A further free day lets you enjoy Lake Como in your own way. Ride the Como–Brunate funicular, relax by the water, take a public ferry to neighbouring villages, or consider a private lake cruise past elegant villas and gardens.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Milan To Como
Arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport, where your private driver will meet you for the transfer to your hotel in Como. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure in this historic lakeside city.
Como Cathedral and the museum and gardens of Tempio Voltiano are within easy walking distance, making this a relaxed first afternoon to settle in, stroll the lakefront, and begin exploring at your own pace.

Day 2: Bernina Express To St Moritz
After breakfast, meet your driver for the journey from Como to Tirano. From here, board the Bernina Express for one of Europe’s most spectacular rail journeys, often described as the train that climbs the mountain.
The route travels through dramatic alpine scenery and forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage-listed railway. As the train climbs through the Bernina Pass, you reach approximately 2,253 metres above sea level, the highest point reached by train in Europe, with sweeping views of the Swiss Alps along the way.
Arrive in St Moritz and enjoy free time to explore this elegant mountain town independently. Later, meet your driver at the agreed meeting point for the return transfer to Como.

Day 3: Relaxing At Lake Como
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure in Como and around the lake. You may wish to ride the funicular up to Brunate for panoramic views over Lake Como and the surrounding mountains, spend time by the water, or simply enjoy the town’s cafes, lanes, and lakeside atmosphere.
A scenic boat trip is a wonderful way to experience the lake, whether by public ferry to neighbouring villages or by private cruise past grand villas and gardens. Bellagio is a rewarding option for the day, with elegant streets, lake views, and time for lunch by the water before returning to Como.

Day 4: Como To Milan
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer from Como to Milan Malpensa Airport, where tour arrangements conclude.
