Let’s reach the city by REGIONAL TRAIN from Bologna train station (about 20 minutes on foot from the hotel) and meet the guide directly at the train station to start the guided tour. This charming town on the Adriatic coast preserves an exceptional artistic heritage, thanks to its past that has seen it as the protagonist of crucial and important historical events: the traces of this past are in the wonderful ancient buildings and in its eight UNESCO Monuments.

Ravenna is also the city of Dante Alighieri, the major Italian poet and the father of the Italian language: he chose this place as his “last refuge” and the city still guard his immortal remains. At the end of the visit (about 3 hours), free time to have lunch and relax.

Your private driver will pick you up directly at your hotel in Bologna to enjoy a new discovering day in Romagna! Free time to discover the small medieval village of Brisighella, placed on the list of the “Most Beautiful Villages of Italy”.

Walk in the characteristic “Donkeys Alley”, strongly linked to the local history: it is an elevated and covered street, illuminated by different arches, which from an ancient defensive bastion has become a shelter for donkeys carrying gypsum from the caves in the surroundings.

After your walk, you’ll stop for a light lunch where you’ll have the opportunity to taste the Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP “Brisighello” and products from a local farm. This oil, which is pleasantly spicy and bitter, is obtained from the variety of “Nostrana di Brisighella” olives present only in these hills and harvested by hand between November and December.

At the end of the lunch, your private driver will bring you to freely visit the medieval village of Dozza, one of the hundred “Most beautiful villages in Italy”, a little jewel in the hills of Imola. To discover it, you could walk in its picturesque historical center, a real open‐air museum: since the 1960s this is the set of the “Biennale del Muro dipinto”, and the facades of the houses are enriched by frescoes and reliefs made by artists from all around the world.
