Meet your driver at the hotel and start your Emilian Gourmet Tour Day (you can choose between Parma and Modena). You will start from the King of Cheeses, Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, visiting a diary and learning the origin of this great product born eight hundred years ago, which is still made with the same ingredients and techniques. A product in which the sensitivity and the experience of the man it is still crucial: the “casaro” (the cheese maker) creates the “wheel” of Parmigiano Reggiano, in a full‐artisanal way. Tasting of different ageing of Parmesan cheese at the end of the visit. Later, you will continue your journey visiting one of the greatest Ham producers of the area.

You will follow the whole production process, from the origin to the finished product, through the master’s skills of this land. The territory has the ideal climatic conditions for the natural seasoning, and it gives the unmistakable sweetness and taste of the Parma Ham.

The tour will be finally topped by a delicious lunch, which includes not only this amazing and refined product, but also other excellent and genuine local products of this area. After lunch, your private driver will take you to the city centre of Modena or Parma (it depends on which city you’ll choose for the gourmet tour).
